2. Information you provide
Depending on the form you use, we may collect your name, email address, mobile number, account credentials, message content, ZIP code, communication preferences, and information you choose to provide while beginning an auto insurance comparison. Budget entries remain in your browser and are not sent to our servers.
3. Information collected automatically
Our hosting and security services may process IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps, referral data, cookies, and similar technical records needed to deliver, secure, and diagnose the website. Binom tracking is not enabled at launch. If tracking changes, this policy and any required controls will be updated before activation.
4. How we use information
We use information to operate accounts, respond to requests, maintain security, document communication choices, support comparison requests, improve site reliability, and comply with law. If an external CRM, email, or webhook destination is configured, only the information needed for the applicable request will be sent to that service.
5. Service providers and third-party connections
We may use hosting, database, security, communications, analytics, and customer-support providers under contractual restrictions. If Ratingly later offers a connection to an identified third party, we will disclose what information would be sent before you direct us to continue. Ratingly does not make underwriting or coverage decisions.
Mobile information and SMS consent exclusion: Customers' mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, and consent records are excluded from any sale, rental, or sharing of information for third-party marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. This exclusion applies to all data-sharing provisions in this Privacy Policy.
6. SMS privacy
If you select the optional marketing SMS checkbox, we record your choice and the mobile number you provide. Entering a mobile number alone does not constitute SMS consent. Customers' mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, and consent records are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Restricted service providers may process this information only on Ratingly's behalf to operate our SMS program, deliver messages, record consent, and honor opt-outs; they may not use it for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. We retain a suppression record after opt-out so we can honor the request. Contact help@rtngi.com for assistance.
7. Retention and security
We keep records only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Your choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion where applicable; unsubscribe from email; reply STOP to SMS; or use our communication preferences page. Browser settings can control cookies. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and account users must be at least 18.
9. State privacy rights
Residents of states with applicable privacy laws may have additional rights, including access, correction, deletion, portability, or limits on certain uses. Email us to make a request. We may need to verify your identity and may retain records when permitted or required by law.
